The RapidTAG Animal Tag RT-AT8603 is a passive intelligent cattle identification tags that operates at Ultra high frequency ( UHF) band 923-925MHz. Confirming to EPCglobal Class 1 Gen 2 standard, the tag addresses application areas that demand high anti-collision rates. The RT-AT8603 shows robust UHF performance over the UHF bandwidth, reliable operation in dense reader environment and optimum read ranges. It features an extended 240-bit EPC number and a 64-bit tag identifier, including a 32-bit unique serial number. The RT-AT8603 also provides a unique custom command set, such as Electronic Article Surveillance ( EAS) for increased protection, Read Protect that prevents unauthorized chip memory access and calibrate, making it easier to optimize the reader to tag communication. All custom commands are 32-bit access password protected. When use in conjunction with our RFP870 high performance Windows CE 5.0 portable handheld , user can easily read/ verify the tag' s unique ID and pull relevant historical information about the cattle ( including photos) from local database record or through wireless/ internet connection* .
